The school seeks an experienced and dedicated support staff member with qualifications in working with students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the classroom teacher to create and deliver engaging activities.Develop a holistic approach to meeting the Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs of students, working alongside teachers, support staff, families, and external agencies to enable learners to make good progress.Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans, Behaviour Plans, Risk Assessments, and Therapy Care programmes for a designated group or class.Build therapeutic relationships with students and provide tailored support based on individual needs.The Ideal Candidate Will Have/Be:Previous experience working with SEN students or a strong desire to work in this field.A good understanding of SEN with a passion for professional growth.The ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively.Commitment to working fixed days, whether full-time or part-time.A clear and valid DBS on the update service or a willingness to obtain one.Relevant training to support students with learning difficulties.If this exciting opportunity interests you, please call us on 01296 752 499 or send your updated CV to [email protected] Desk partners with several Local Authorities and offers a range of opportunities across the boroughs of Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Buckinghamshire.
