Senior Stress Engineer | Senior Mechanical Engineer Location: Yeovil Onsite (Flexible 4 day week options) Salary: £45,000 - £80,000 doe (Paye contract) - Accommodation support for 4 weeks Duration: 12 months +?Client: Engineering/AerospaceDo you have a passion for Mechanical Engineering Design & stress analysis?The Turbomachinery and Heat Exchanger Analysis and Design group within the Mechanical Systems and Components (MS&C) directorate is responsible for the design, development and analysis of Environmental Control System (ECS) turbomachinery and heat exchangers, as well as electric traction drive motors.You'll be responsible for stress, vibration, and heat transfer analysisEssential Experience:- Performing thermal & stress analysis on turbomachinery, gas turbine engines, motors and/or other similar components and systems- Working knowledge of ANSYS or similar finite element software & classical hand calculation methods
