Management Accountant

Hutcheon Mearns is proud to partner with a leading organisation in their search for an Assistant Management Accountant. Based in Edinburgh, this exciting opportunity offers a clear progression route with a salary package of £30,000 to £38,000 with a bonus.

The Opportunity

Our client stands as a frontrunner within their industry, experiencing rapid growth and harbouring ambitious expansion plans. This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work with a forward-thinking organisation a great progression route within a supportive culture who will support you in becoming a chartered accountant. Within this role you will be involved in;

• Preparing quarterly management accounts
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Overseeing payment runs and expenses
• Assisting the transactional team when required
• Preparing financial statements

Background and Experience

You will have experience producing or assisting in the creation of management accounts within an organisation and be willing to start or currently going through your chartered accountancy qualification.
