About The Role At Huckleberry, we believe that storytelling is an art. As our Digital Content Creator, and part of the Creative Team, you’ll be the artist bringing luxury hotels and dreamy destinations to life. From capturing stunning visuals to crafting clever captions, you’ll be the heartbeat of our creative endeavours. Get ready to explore Scotland’s most breathtaking spots while showcasing your creative flair. Key Responsibilities Master of Visual Storytelling: Create eye-catching content—breathtaking photos, sleek videos, and engaging Instagram Stories that resonate. Elevate client properties from good to WOW with your expert eye for lighting, composition, and mood. Utilise editing software (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Canva, etc.) to transform raw footage into polished masterpieces. Creative Wordsmith: Write short, punchy, on-brand copy that encourages engagement and interaction. Craft snappy social media posts, clever hashtags, and captivating blog content that transports readers to the heart of the experience. Collaborate with the Social Media Specialist to ensure your copy is creative and optimised for performance. On-the-Ground Content Guru: Travel to client properties across the UK, capturing everything from stunning sunsets to gourmet dinners. Plan and execute on-location shoots, working closely with the Head of Creative to bring each vision to life. Collaborate with hotel teams to showcase their unique personality and charm in every shot. Collaborate & Conquer: Team up with the Head of Creative to brainstorm and craft vibrant campaigns. Partner with the Social Media Specialist to use data insights for improving content performance. Be an integral part of the creative process, enjoying plenty of fun brainstorming sessions with fellow creatives. Trendsetter & Innovator: Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring the latest social media and content trends. Experiment with different content formats—Reels, Stories, IGTV, and more to push boundaries. Explore new storytelling methods through time-lapse videos, drone photography, and interactive content. The Content Calendar Boss: Manage content schedules to ensure a steady flow of high-quality, on-brand material across platforms. Keep everything organised, making sure posts are timely, relevant, and visually stunning. Own the process from idea conception to timely delivery of the final product. Influencer Collaborator: Create exciting, on-brand content ideas for influencer visits and collaborations. Work with influencers to brainstorm concepts and ensure they create content that aligns with our clients’ brand. Required Qualifications Proven experience as a content creator, ideally in the hospitality or luxury brand sector.  Strong portfolio showcasing photography, videography, social media and written content. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Canva) and other editing tools. Excellent writing and communication skills with a flair for engaging storytelling. Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to derive insights from data. Experience with social media analytics tools and a good understanding of optimisation techniques. A valid driver’s licence. Personal Attributes Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and visual arts. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit.
