Our client is a Mid Tier Consulting firm who are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Credit Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal

candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with expertise in credit analysis and

risk assessment. Proficiency in German is essential, as you will be working with international

clients across various regions.

Credit Assessment and Analysis

- Evaluate the creditworthiness of potential and existing clients by analyzing financial statements, credit

reports, and other relevant data.

- Conduct thorough risk assessments to determine the likelihood of repayment and potential exposure to

credit risk.

- Prepare detailed credit analysis reports with recommendations for credit limits and terms.

Financial Analysis

- Perform in-depth financial analysis to understand clients' financial health, including liquidity, profitability,

and cash flow.

- Monitor and review clients' financial performance regularly to identify any changes in credit risk.

Decision Making and Reporting

- Make informed credit decisions and present findings to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

- Prepare and present regular credit risk reports, highlighting key trends, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Collaboration and Communication - Work closely with sales, finance, and legal teams to ensure alignment on credit policies and decisions. - Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders in French and German to gather necessary information and provide clear explanations of credit decisions. Compliance and Risk Management - Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. - Implement and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate credit risk and safeguard company assets

Person specification:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Must have minimum 7years credit analysis experience

- Proven experience 6+years as a Credit Analyst, preferably within a corporate finance or consulting

environment.

- Strong understanding of financial statements, credit analysis, and risk assessment.

- Fluent in French and German, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both languages.

- Proficiency in financial analysis software and tools.

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
