Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator

Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator Fresh People are currently looking to recruit a Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator for a Fresh Produce business based in Dartford . In this role you will spend 70% of your time supporting the transport team with driver liaison, booking transport and other administrative requirements and 30% out in the warehouse / yard assisting with unloading vehicles and organising waste collections working Monday – Friday 8-5pm Suitable Candidates If you have previously worked as a Warehouse & Logistics supervisor / coordinator within a fast paced environment within Fresh Produce or Food RDC with a minimum of 1 years’ operations experience in a similar role, hold a current CB licence and have strong attention to detail , excellent PC skills including Microsoft Excel . Strong organizational and time management skills with an understanding of Stock Management systems or ERP, examples SAP, Fresh ware, or D365 then this role would be suited to you Key Requirements * Collating documentation of collections and arrivals * Hiring and de-hiring of trays and pallets * Check transport invoices against dispatches. * Organizing waste collections as require * Keeping track of consumables inventory * Goods in, unloading and physical checks of deliveries against paperwork+ * Planning and control of all yard activities and efficient space allocation * Conducting additional ad-hoc duties and reasonable management requests as may be required. * Clear and precise communication with the team * Ensuring H&S implementation within area of the operations within your control * Remedial actions required outside of scope are brought to Line Manager attention If you have the experience we are looking for above then in the first instance send us your CV for consideration
