PLC Programmer / Automation Software Engineer – Portsmouth, Hampshire – Permanent - £50k + Bonus Are you a Software Engineer with experience of writing Ladder Logic for PLC’s and interested in working at an innovative manufacturing company in Portsmouth? If so, read on… You’ll be a key member of a highly skilled team of experts who design and develop machinery used in manufacturing. You’ll play a pivotal role in the continuous improvement of robotic manufacturing for the Company’s production processes. Main Duties and Responsibilities: • PLC programming (Mitsubishi iQ-R) • Robot Programming (Mitsubishi R-series) • Programming of Keyence vision equipment (XG-X and CV-X) • Programming of other key equipment e.g. Servo, RFID, Inverter • Improving existing software to increase reliability and throughput Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Experience of Ladder Logic, Structured Text and/or Function blocks The company uses Mitsubishi iQ-R PLCs, Mitsubishi robots, and Keyence vision equipment. Training on these systems will be provided for those who are not already familiar with them.
