KS1 Teaching Assistant (Full-time, Temporary) Newcastle upon Tyne £416.65 - £450 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications) September 2024 – July 2025 The School and Role A vibrant Primary School situated within  Newcastle are looking for a Teaching Assistant from January 2025. The successful applicant will be working within across Year 1 – Year 6, with pupils working at varied abilities. This will be mainly general support, however, small group/1:1 intervention’s may be required. This is a full-time role, working Monday-Friday, 08:30-15:30 with potential to turn permanent if all goes well, previous experience of working within KS1 is essential. Requirements The desired Teaching Assistant will: -          Preferably have experience of working within KS1 and KS2 -          Preferably hold a Level 2 Teaching Qualification or above. -          Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team. -          Have a friendly and enthusiastic personality. -          Have an ability to offer differentiated learning and support pupils with SEND.
