ROLE SUMMARY AND PURPOSEThe LMA Institute Senior Learning Manager will play an important role within the LMA team, contributing to the achievement of the LMA's aims and objectives including:• Delivery of LMA qualifications including the LMA Diploma in Football Management and the Postgraduate Award in Strategic Leadership• Overall design and delivery responsibility for LMA Institute CPD events, including Masterclasses, Webinars and Performance Visits• Oversee the delivery of the LMA's new short courses: Perform, Lead, Coach and Mentor• Lead the delivery and continued improvement of the LMA Online Platform• Deliver and support the LMA Institute range of content products including The Manager Journal, LMA Insights, Personal Development guides and Recorded Content• Ensure robust quality assurance, tracking and reporting processes across the LMA Institute programmes• Oversee the full calendar of events for the LMA Institute of Leadership & High Performance• Expand and manage a network of trusted leadership and high-performance consultants, experts and speakers • Work closely with the LMA Commercial team on defining, marketing and delivering the Institute's commercial offering including designing bespoke programmes for LMA Commercial Partners • Manage the day-to-day direction of the LMA Institute including budgets, brand and visibility to members and the game • Build and maintain strong member affinity and relationships with all LMA members including the LMA Institute Communications Plan• Work across additional LMA projects as advised by LMA CEO and LMA Board• Support and become an integral part of the LMA team and all its activitiesPERSON SPECIFICATIONThe person specification describes the knowledge, skills, aptitudes, experience and qualifications that the LMA deems necessary for successful performance in the job role.Experience• Experience of working in talent and performance in elite level sport or professional football• And / or experience of working in talent and people development in non-sport businesses• Significant experience in delivering adult learning programmes, talent development programmes and personal development support• Experience of online learning and online programme deliverySkills and Abilities• Educated to degree level (or equivalent level qualification) in Sport Science or relevant personal development / psychology fields• Ability to work independently, managing multiple projects from inception to completion and prioritising workloads• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships internally and externally• Significant organisational and processes skills• Creativity and a passion for ongoing improvement• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills• Attention to detail • Work well under pressureBenefits• Free access to gym facilities at St. George's Park• Subsidised lunches at St. George's Park• Private healthcareOther Considerations• Relocation as necessary in order to work from St. George's Park• Ability to work irregular and out-of-office hours as dictated by member needs• Ability to travel throughout the country, including overnight stays• Clean driving licenceEqual OpportunitiesThe LMA is an equal opportunities employer and positively encourages applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion, belief and gender.
