Category Manager

Location: UK Remote (1/2 Days per month in Cambridgeshire) Salary: Up to £65,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits This is a customer-facing category management role where you will be pivotal in shaping and driving category growth on Tesco's retail account for a leading FMCG organisation that holds a significant market share in the categories it represents. You’ll spearhead category strategic initiatives that fuel business growth and profitability and influence cross-functional teams on NPD and innovation. Key Responsibilities: Instrumental in influencing key grocery accounts. Customer relationship management Delivering data-driven category strategies. Contributing category insights to identify category growth. Cross-functional collaboration with internal teams such as marketing and commercial. The ideal individual will have strong Category Management experience and a good understanding of the UK retail grocery scene (Tesco exposure would be useful). You should be comfortable building relationships and working closely with customers, with a passion for figuring out what drives category performance. Experience in creating and delivering successful Category Growth Plans is key, along with familiarity with using tools like Circana, Nielsen & Kantar Data to make smart, data-driven decisions.
