Management Accountant – Manchester City Centre – Hybrid- 8 month MAT Cover– £34,000 - £38,000+ Bonus Axon Moore is proud to be partnering with this high growth, reputable Retail business based in Manchester City Centre, in the search of a Management Accountant for an 8 month Maternity cover. The ideal person will have a retail background, at least a couple of years experience in a similar role, that is QBE or Part qualified CIMA/ ACCA. Key Responsibilities: 🔸 Responsible for the delivery of a complete management accounting service in accordance with the company timetables 🔸 Review of current systems and processes to bring efficiencies to the team 🔸 Prepare and own the balance sheet reconciliations 🔸 Ensure all revenue and expenditure are correctly accounted for in both the management and financial accounts 🔸 Effective tracking of KPIs 🔸 Support the Financial Controller in the preparation of the year-end statutory accounts with full compliance with FRS102, annual audit and tax information 🔸 Provide reliable, accurate financial information to key internal users VAT returns, IOSS sales reporting and USA Sales Tax registration & reporting Inventory movement, write-offs and revaluations are properly controlled and stock reconciliations are completed monthly 🔸 National statistics surveys 🔸Other adhoc duties Experience and skills: Part qualified (ACCA or CIMA) or QBE Proven experience of working in a retail management accounts function Strong attention to detail Able to work under pressure Be well organised, analytical and confident in relaying financial information Be eager to grow along with the finance function Have good management and leadership skills Be a committed team player who can work effectively, to tight deadlines Benefits: 💸 Bonus structure for all employees 🏥 Private Medical Insurance 🎂 Day off on birthday 🌴 25-day holiday minimum 🏡 Flexible workplace 🧘‍♀️ Monthly well-being allowance 👏 Work with a vibrant team 🧢 50% staff discount 💰 Pension scheme available For more information, please contact (url removed)
