Assembly Operative (Days) £26,000 - £30,000 Days & Excellent Benefits The Company My client is a leading specialist manufacturer supplying components, services and systems. With almost 100 years’ experience they are part of a global business that supplies into multiple sectors both in the UK and internationally. They have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assembly Operative to ensure products leave the factory on time and compliant to the relevant safety standards. The Role: Reporting to the Workshop Manager the Assembly Operative your responsibilities will include assembly, diss-assembly and decommissioning and compliance with Quality standards such as ISO 9001. The role will also include: * Correct following of processes and procedures * Managing non-conformance * Detailed inspection * Receiving goods from suppliers * Picking customer orders for dispatch * Dispatch and tracking shipments * Maintaining stock accuracy * Managing Customer returns * Filing of all warehouse documentation The Candidate The ideal Assembly Operative will already have Assembly (and some Warehouse) experience gained within a Manufacturing environment. Being able to follow ‘work instructions’ to strict guidelines is crucial. A knowledge of SAP / ERP or other warehouse management systems is required. However, some experience in either Mechanical or electrical engineering and being a FLTD license holder is advantageous.
