Role Overview  RDP is a market leader in the design and manufacturing of promotional and retail products for globally market-leading entertainment brands and IP rights holders.The Logistics and Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for managing procurement and logistics processes within the EMEA/UK region, ensuring all purchasing activities align with the company’s compliance requirements and operational goals. This role involves supplier identification, Request for Quotation (RFQ) management, purchase order processing, logistics coordination, and supplier development. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to optimise cost, quality, and delivery times.Your Key ResponsibilitiesSupplier Identification & Development:·       Identify and vet potential suppliers through various resources, including internal supplier lists, trade pages, and local trade fairs. ·       Complete the supplier onboarding process, gathering all necessary information such as product samples and certificates (e.g., ISO9001, ISO14001). ·       Obtain senior management approval before proceeding with quotations from new suppliers.  ·       Continuously seek opportunities to improve supplier relationships, focusing on enhancing quality, pricing, and reliability.Request for Quotation (RFQ) Process: ·       Manage RFQ processes, ensuring compliance with client-specific quality assurance protocols·       Ensure suppliers provide detailed and accurate quotations, including product specifications, lead times, and Incoterms·       Secure competitive pricing by obtaining quotes from at least two qualified suppliers for bespoke items·       Work closely with suppliers and design to make sure samples are made to the expected quality and timelinesOrder Management:·       Create and manage Purchase Orders (PO) in SAP, ensuring accurate input of market data, material tests, and quality control requirements·       Obtain approval from senior management before sending POs to suppliers and ensure they are counter-signed within 24 hours·       Support the design and production approval process, ensuring artwork and sample approvals are completed in consideration of delivery timelines·       Manage production sampling and material testing, ensuring compliance with quality standards·       Coordinate inspections, including arranging third-party inspections for high-risk or high-value orders·       Monitor supplier production schedules making sure all are on track and the key dates are met Compliance & Documentation:·       Ensure all procurement activities meet compliance requirements, collaborating closely with the compliance team·       Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities, including supplier communications, RFQs, and PO documentationSupplier & Logistics Development: (10%)  ·       Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery of goods·       Handle post-order processes, including obtaining Proof of Delivery (POD) and closing Goods Receipt Purchase Orders (GRPO) on SAP·       Evaluate and develop supplier relationships, focusing on performance enhancement and exploring new opportunities for collaboration·       Optimise logistics processes to reduce costs and improve delivery timesLocation:  We operate an on-premises working model where employees are expected to be in the London office Monday to Friday.About You:  ·       Proven experience in procurement, preferably within the EMEA region·       Strong understanding of compliance requirements in a procurement environment·       Proficient in SAP and other procurement management tools·       Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills·       Strong organisational skills with attention to detail·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team·       Experience in supplier development and logistics management is highly desirableWhat We Can Offer:  ·       23 days annual leave·       Base salary in line with experience up to £35,000·       Season Ticket Loan and Cycle to Work Scheme·       Pension contribution matching·       Professional development, workplace training, and mentoring opportunities
