Experis is currently working with one of our long-standing clients, who is undergoing a large transformation and seeking a highly skilled Programme Manager to oversee and manage their IT programmes, ensuring that all projects align with their strategic objectives and are delivered with excellence. As a Programme Manager, you will be responsible for successfully delivering complex IT programmes from inception to completion. You will lead cross-functional teams, ensuring that all projects are executed within scope, on time, and within budget while adhering to rigorous governance standards. Your strong expertise in project governance will be critical in maintaining oversight and ensuring alignment with organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Programme Management: Lead and manage multiple IT programmes, ensuring they align with business objectives and strategic goals. Develop and manage programme plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate and oversee the execution of all programme activities, ensuring effective resource allocation and risk management.

Governance and Compliance: Establish and enforce project governance frameworks, policies, and procedures. Monitor and review project performance against governance standards, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular programme reviews and audits, providing reports and recommendations to senior management.

Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring that programme objectives are met. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across all levels of the organisation and with external partners. Address and resolve stakeholder issues and conflicts in a timely manner.

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate programme and project managers, ensuring high performance and professional development. Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, promoting best practices in project management.

Risk and Issue Management: Identify, assess, and manage programme risks and issues, developing and implementing mitigation strategies. Ensure proactive problem-solving and resolution of programme-related challenges.

Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present detailed programme reports, including progress, performance, and financial metrics. Analyse programme outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications: Education:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., PMP, PgMP) is preferred. Experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in programme management, focusing on IT programmes. Governance Expertise:

Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing project governance frameworks and methodologies.

Skills: Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in programme management tools and software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
