We are looking to recruit a Depot Manager to manage the team at our depot in Leeds. As a Depot Manager (DM), you will ensure that the customer is at the heart of everything you do. Through effective and proactive management, you will drive the business forward with a passion to deliver business targets. You will be relationship driven, customer facing, as well as with key stakeholders throughout the business to support success. As the advocate for Health and Safety, you will lead by example, ensuring a positive and proactive approach to safety culture.  In return you will receive a Competitive Salary, Company Car or Cash Allowance, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, BUPA, Life Assurance, Auto enrolment pension scheme & Lifestyle Benefits – discount on selected high street store Responsibilities include:  •    Show strong leadership skills to motivate, challenge, lead by example and inspire a winning culture within all areas of the depot, aspiring to be top of the UK depot league table.  •    Lead the H&S culture, ensuring all policies & standards are maintained.  •    Daily reviews of all types of audits within depot, taking a hands-on approach. All toolbox talks are delivered and signed by deadlines stipulated. •    Adequate resource planning management for annual leave, retention, inductions, and recruitment. •    Ensure training and development is managed and supported alongside performance levels. •    Carry out monthly 121 reviews that include effective conversations with clear feedback on performance and behaviours. Assess if targets and expectations are being met and are achieving continuous improvement. •    Effectively performance manage the team to ensure clear expectations and actions are in place with support measures included. Escalate any underperformance or concerns to line management in line with company procedures. •    Driving and communicating KPI’s, identifying those KPI’s/individuals that need guidance by having daily briefings to help prioritise, clarify goals and objectives.
