Civil Site Manager Toro Recruitment is searching for a Civil Site Manager to join an Independent Connection Provider that operates UK-wide. Our client is expanding its team and is seeking a dedicated individual with proven site management experience in the Power Distribution sector. As a Civil Site Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of projects within a portfolio of works, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The Civil Site Manager will play a crucial role in managing these projects from start to finish. The project will commence in October and will run until May. The project consists of main excavation, utility trench digging, backfilling, reinstatement, and the installation of electrical infrastructure up to 33kV for a renewable energy developer, contributing to Net Zero in the local Aberdeenshire area. The role will ensure that the electrical infrastructure is installed and ready to be energised. Responsibilities of the Civil Site Manager will include: * Leading and managing site teams to ensure efficient project delivery. * Developing site plans, timelines, and budgets in coordination with stakeholders. * Monitoring site progress and identifying potential risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed. * Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations and quality standards throughout project execution. * Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain effective communication and resolve any site-related issues. * Managing site finances, including cost control, budget monitoring, and financial reporting. * Providing regular site updates and reports to stakeholders, including senior management. * Overseeing the procurement of materials and services necessary for site execution. Requirements: * NRSWA Supervisor ticket. * SMSTS. * Knowledge of HSG47 and CDM regulations. * Experience within Utilities and/or Civil Engineering. * Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and quality standards. * Commercial awareness. * Ability to interact with clients when visiting sites. What this position offers: * Day Rate: £400-£500 per day (Outside IR35). * Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. * Company vehicle, if required. * IT equipment provided. * No accommodation provided - seeking locally-based individuals.
