Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) Location: Various London Locations Salary: £40,000+ per annum Hours: Night Shift Employment Type: Temp to Perm About Us: At Supreme Recruitment, we are recruiting on behalf of our client, DPD, one of the UK's leading parcel delivery companies. We are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (C+E) for night shifts across various locations in London. This is a fantastic opportunity with the potential for a permanent position. Role Overview: As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for making trunking deliveries between DPD depots and hubs, ensuring the timely and safe transport of goods. The role involves long-distance driving, and you will be expected to work primarily night shifts. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles in accordance with UK road and transport regulations. Undertake trunking and depot-to-depot deliveries, ensuring goods arrive on time. Perform pre-shift vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and safety. Load and unload goods, following health and safety procedures. Maintain accurate tachograph records and comply with driver hours regulations. Efficiently plan routes to meet delivery schedules. Represent Supreme Recruitment and DPD professionally.Requirements: Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence. Full Driver CPC and a valid Digi-Tacho card. Minimum of 1 year Class 1 driving experience. Strong understanding of UK driving laws and tachograph regulations. Excellent time management and attention to detail. Flexibility to work night shifts.
