Job Purpose: The HR Manager will serve as a strategic partner to leadership and a trusted resource for employees. This role is responsible for developing and implementing HR policies and practices that support organizational goals, enhance employee engagement, and ensure compliance with UK employment laws. The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive workplace culture, promoting talent development, and driving performance management initiatives. We are committed to: Excellence Responsibility Empowerment Connectivity Courage Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's objectives, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with leadership. Ensure that the Dar values are embedded and adhered to through the employee lifecycle Facilitate the recruitment process, including job description, reviewing candidates for cultural fit, offer management and onboarding. Oversee performance appraisal processes, providing guidance to managers on goal setting, feedback, and development plans. Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, facilitating conflict resolution, and ensuring a positive work environment. Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and career growth, fostering a culture of continuous learning. Ensure all HR policies and procedures comply with UK employment legislation and best practices, regularly updating documentation as needed. Conduct regular surveys and initiatives to gauge employee satisfaction, implementing strategies to enhance engagement and retention. Maintain HR metrics and prepare reports for management, providing insights on key performance indicators and trends. Education / Experience and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; CIPD qualification preferred Experience in an Engineering/Consulting firm preferred HR Managerial experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment. Proven track record in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training and development. Strong understanding of UK employment laws and HR best practices. Proficiency in HR Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in designing and implementing employee training programs. Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
