Due to continued growth, we are now seeking a Workshop Engineer/Technician to join the team here at Brighouse. Position Overview: The Workshop Engineer will be responsible for the servicing and repair of Dawsongroup environmental municipal civil Limiteds (DGEMC) hire fleet equipment. As the Workshop Engineer you will be responsible for: Fault diagnosis, repair and routine maintenance of sweepers and other company equipment Examining sweepers and other company equipment Carrying out vehicle inspections and MOT checks, delivering vehicles to MOT test stations Assisting the rental operations department, ensuring weekly stock checks of all hire fleet assets not on rent The successful Workshop Engineer will hold: HGV mechanical experience (ideally) Experience dealing with hydraulic systems Basic electrics knowledge What we offer in return: Competitive Salary Package 24 Days holiday + 1 day birthday holiday + bank holidays Allocation of a turkey at Christmas Employer supported volunteering days Life Assurance x2 Annual salary Cycle to work scheme Internal promotion pathways Refer a friend scheme earn up to £200 Flu Jab Annual Health Assessment Dawson Group PLC is an equal opportunity employer.
