Design Manager

We are currently looking for a Design Manager to work with one of our Main Contractor clients in London. My client provides consultancy and construction services to many organisations in the country and generated over £1.5bn in revenue last year. The initial project is the construction of a 5,000 square foot library, just North of the Thames. This project aims construct a library with 4 new entrances and public access routes. About the role: * Managing the design processes involved in a construction project, including ensuring that drawings are ready on time, reviewing designs and making them available to the appropriate people. * Liaising with clients on designrelated matters. * Establishing and maintaining effective methods of communication between the teams involved in design work throughout the project. * Managing a design team. * Managing the design process using commercial, contractual, programme/time awareness and technical expertise
