Financial Risk Officer - Capital - Insurance £90,000-£110,000 My client are an insurer based in London who are looking for a new member for their prudential risk team to work cross their 1st and 2nd line risk function. You will cover aspects of market, credit, liquidity, and operational risk playing a key part in rolling out their prudential risk framework The role will offer flexibility to work remotely, but will require you to visit the London office on occasion. As the business grows, and a specialist business and they are looking to build their Prudential risk team to help maintain their strong stance with the regulator. Joining the firm at this time will bring some amazing challenges, and opportunities, as well as the opportunity to build key relationships and gain exposure across the organisation. This role will really suit someone who is looking to challenge themselves, in a complexed business who can offer a great development opportunity. I am looking to speak to people who can deliver : You will be able understand Prudential Regulations in order to to write policy, and understand what goes in to a policy to ensure that it is meeting regulatory requirements. Be comfortable working between the 1st and 2nd line of defence you must have exposure of either market risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, or operational risk frameworks and be able to look at ORSA reporting for the organisation. Experience with stress testing across capital management Be able to build relationships with all business areas to ensure policies are being embedded correctly. Delivering sign off on all policies implemented across the business You will be able to work from the top down, working closely with the C-suite , and also working with business users who are working to help implement policies. you must be able to challenge users to ensure policies are regularly adhered to You will help represent ERM at monthly committee meetings.
