Job Title: Senior Sub Contractor
Location: Chelmsford
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000
Shift: 9 AM to 5 PM

We are looking for an experienced Senior Sub Contractor to oversee subcontract formation and administration for various projects, ensuring compliance and managing subcontractor performance.

• Manage all aspects of subcontract formation and administration.
• Prepare RFQs/RFPs and assign contract flow-down provisions.
• Evaluate subcontractor proposals and conduct risk assessments.
• Develop negotiation strategies and award subcontracts.
• Maintain subcontract records and document small business plans.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and manage contract closeout.
• Collaborate with supply chain planners to align deliverables.
• Update policies and procedures as needed.
• Use ERP systems for data tracking and reporting.
• Progress high-value purchase orders through the approval process.

• Knowledge of ECSS, FAR, DFARS, DCAA, and other regulations.
• Familiarity with DCAA audits; MCIPS qualification is a plus.
• Knowledge of Source to Pay (S2P) and Procure to Pay (P2P) processes.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Eight (8) plus years of subcontract management experience in federal contracts.
