Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our UK team. We need someone who can jump right in, managing day-to-day financial operations, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and month-end reporting, all while maintaining high standards of accuracy and service. We’re seeking someone excited to be part of a dynamic and expanding company. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in pursuing an accounting qualification like ACCA or CIMA, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, especially when working with our India-based colleagues. This role is perfect for someone with finance experience or a recent graduate ready to take the next step and grow into a finance management role.


ABOUT YOU

  • Education: A recent graduate in a Finance-related degree with aspirations towards an accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA), ideally with some experience such as a placement year. An AAT qualification is a plus.
  • Experience: While prior experience in a finance role is advantageous, a strong willingness to learn and develop is essential.
  • Excel Proficiency: Proficient in Excel is preferable to manage data efficiently and support reporting tasks.
  • Growth-Oriented: We are looking for someone who wants to develop their career in finance, with a view towards taking on more complex reporting and analysis tasks as they progress.


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable: Manage day-to-day AR and AP functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Billing: Take a lead role in the billing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, which is a significant part of this position.
  • Month-End Reporting: Support the month-end close process, assisting in the preparation of financial reports.
  • Transactional Finance Duties: Assist in various transactional finance tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes.
  • Ad-hoc Projects: Provide support on various ad-hoc projects, contributing to the broader finance function as needed.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team and other departments, including significant interaction with our India team.
  • Systems Management: Learn and utilise NetSuite and other financial systems to ensure efficient financial operations.

London.
