Factory Manager

White Raven Resourcing are acting as a recruitment agency for permanent placements. We are seeking a skilled Factory Manager to oversee our clients manufacturing operations in St Helens. The ideal candidate will be experienced in the timber sector, responsible for managing production processes, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining quality standards. Our client is a market leader in the mouldings and timber products sector, supplying all major DIY retailers with an extensive portfolio of products. Duties - Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands, prioritising the work load to achieve optimum efficiencies. - Supervise factory staff and provide guidance and training when necessary - Monitor production output and quality control measures - Implement health and safety protocols to create a safe working environment - Manage inventory levels and order raw materials as needed - Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday No weekends Experience: Timber Industry: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person Reference ID: WWR_1001 Requirements Qualifications - Proven experience in a timber manufacturing or production management role - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively - Excellent problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges promptly - Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a manufacturing environment - Understanding of lean manufacturing principles is desirable Benefits Benefits: Company pension Free parking On-site parking
