£28,000 - 30,000 (pay review after 6 months) dependent on experience + Healthcare opt in +company van + phone + Ipad + 24 days holiday
My client is a dynamic and rapidly growing company specializing in fire safety solutions for the commercial sector. They pride themselves on their commitment to excellence and our ability to deliver high-quality services to prestigious clients, including Chelsea football club and iconic London buildings like the Gherkin. As they continue to expand, we are looking for motivated junior fire extinguisher engineers with 1-3 years experience to join their growing team. This opportunity offers unrivalled progression with the potential to grow out a team within the next 2-3 years. Within this regional role overnight stays will be rare, if any thus offering fantastic work life balance. There are always opportunities for weekend work should you desire to earn extra overtime, but this is optional at the engineers discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Maintenance: Install, service, and maintain fire extinguishers in accordance with BAFE standards and industry regulations on a variety of commercial sites.
- Compliance Checks: Ensure all fire safety equipment is compliant with legal standards and is fully operational.
- Client Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, offering advice and guidance on fire safety matters to clients.
- Reporting: Complete accurate reports and documentation for each site visit.
- Health & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- BAFE Qualification: Must be BAFE qualified to work as a Fire Extinguisher Engineer.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in fire extinguisher installation, maintenance, or a related field.
- Systems knowledge: Barrel and Plastic.
- Driving License: A full clean driving license is essential, as you will be required to travel to various sites.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify potential fire risks and non-compliant equipment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
