Job Role Plumber Location: NI Working Hours: 40 hours Responsible: Contracts Manager JOB SUMMARY A demanding position which requires an individual to work flexibly and travel across Northern Ireland and also use their own initiative in a fast-moving environment. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Professional delivery of all contracts Respond to routine and planned maintenance works Ensure all assigned tasks are completed to work deadlines Assist in new installations Diagnose and repair, faults on systems and plumbing Uphold Data Protection Policies Participate in overtime when required (including weekends) Health & Safety: Adhere to all health & safety regulations and company policy at all times Report any accidents or issues regarding health & safety appropriately Ensure all Risk Assessments & safe systems of work are read, understood, signed and followed Observe & follow all manual handling practices QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing or equivalent Valid CSR Card or formal Health and Safety Training Full UK Driving License Experience in construction or plumbing and heating industry Demonstrate experience working on Social Housing contracts Attributes/Skills: The successful candidate should: Be capable of working on own initiative Ability to work methodically and with attention to detail Good communication and organisational skills Have a good timekeeping and attendance record Have the ability to work with a wide range of people Be a good team player Demonstrate ability to follow written and verbal directions Demonstrate a flexible attitude towards assigned tasks Be reliable & committed Have ability to work to deadlines Have ability to take on new skills Have a positive approach to continuous improvement processes and techniques In addition, As part of our recruitment process an Access NI disclosure will also be required.
