CALLING ALL TEACHING ASSISTANTS! I have an amazing opportunity for dedicated Teaching Assistants to join an independent specialist educational college in Cranborne, Wimborne. Your role as a Teaching Assistant would be to support students between the ages of 16-25 years old with development and independence. You will create a safe and caring learning environment and build a professional & trusted relationship with the students putting their health, safety and overall development first. Title: Teaching Assistant Pay: £20,941 - £22,836 per annum Location: Cranborne, Wimborne (BH21 postcode) Hours: 40 hours per week (term time only) Contract: Permanent The college is surrounded by stunning grounds and supports pupils between the ages of 16-25 years old. Contribute to planning, preparation, implementation and evaluation of education programmes, plans and reports as required. Contribute to assessing, recording, and reporting on young people's progress Promote and encourage independence at all times. Keep records accurately and up to date Ensure safeguarding and health and safety procedures are followed at all times Promote the development of positive social behaviours and self-regulation skills Requirements: Full UK driving licence and access to your own car Level 2 or equivalent in Maths and English Please note that the minimum age to work on-site is 21 Be positive and creative in meeting young people's needs Be able to work on your own as well as part of a team Good numeracy and literacy skills Competent ICT skills Interested?
