Vessel Operator - London, Greater London, United Kingdom Job Purpose Responsible liaison between ONE Vessel Operations and Vessel Masters, Ports Operations, terminals, and Consortium partners to ensure ONE’s requirements are maintained within this framework. Primary Job Responsibilities and Measurement Vessel Operations and Marine Safety Based on policy and directions of GHQ, assist the Vessel Operations team, and ensure safety standards are maintained. Maintain ongoing relationships with main vendors and local Country Organisations to find the best balance between cost efficiency and service quality. Monitor and report operational costs. Participate in the regular operations review meetings. Monitor vessel schedules and propose remedial action in case of delays. Liaise with trade departments and GHQ to find the most appropriate action for schedule recovery. Monitor and advise on industrial action, disputes, and disruptions to all parties in ONE Organisation. Own vessel stevedore damage handling (hull damage). Protect the Company's interest. Weekend/Public holiday cover on a rotation basis. Cost Control / Management Plan Supervise reporting structure and provide guidance to work towards appropriate targets. Implement measures to reduce costs. Monitor KPIs for internal and external stakeholders. Location: London RHQ but does require from time to time overseas travel. Skills, Qualifications, and Expertise Preferably educated to a minimum degree level. Minimum of one year of vessel operations experience pan Europe. Previous sea experience is an advantage. Strong operational/commercial awareness is essential. Alliance experience. Ability to forge working relationships internally and with external vendors at all levels. Analytical and methodical.
