As they continue their remarkable trajectory of growth and innovation, they are in search of an accomplished and forward-thinking Principal Database Administrator to join them in their mission to becoming a disruptor in the FinTech space.


We are seeking a Principal Database Administrator who is passionate about their work and loves problem-solving. We want an enthusiastic individual ready to play a leading role in driving the design, development, and implementation of database solutions leveraging modern cloud architecture.


Part of your role will be responsible for creating and maintaining database standards and policies, supporting database design and testing, manage availability and performance, administer objects, implement event triggers for alerts, perform housekeeping, and monitor usage and performance metrics.

What are we looking for…

  • Extensive knowledge of SQL Server and experience with AWS RDS
  • Familiarity with AWS Redshift
  • Understanding of BI/Dashboards and Data Warehousing
  • Proficiency with AWS Aurora or MySQL
  • Experience with FiveTran
  • Expertise in AWS Encryption, particularly in relation to databases
  • Must become conversant with data protection regulations and the implementation of relevant security controls

Salary: £85,000 - £110,000 + a superb benefits package, including stock options
