Job DescriptionEngineering Manager: Video Players – JavaScript, TypeScript, MSE, EME, LeadershipWe are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager, permanent and London based, to run teams in our Digital & Media clients Video Player Technology area. Working on the development of MSE/EME powered solutions. You will be responsible for the development of a brand new MSE player solution utilising the wider JavaScript technology team which will support platforms such TVs, consoles and browsers. Working with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design software solutions which will be used for wider architecture. Your management experience will also be supported by deep commitment to the disciplines of software engineering – CI / CD, code reviews, pair programming and the like. Building out a strong team through a collaborative environment, managing stakeholders on deadlines, scopes and risks. Key Technologies:Expert knowledge in programming languages – JavaScript and TypeScriptExperience in MSE/EME API’s.Experience building JavaScript/TypeScript libraries which would power all aspects of video playback.Experience in working on a greenfield project through all stages and taking them forward to production ready state. A background in Broadcasting or Streaming Services is a must.
