Abatec is seeking a Site Engineer on a freelance contract to join our client, a regional contractor, for a Marine based Civil Engineering project in Liverpool. The successful candidate will have experience in the Civil Engineering industry, capable of self-delivery, setting out, and have prior experience working on marine projects. As Site Engineer you will: * Have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in setting out on civil engineering schemes. * Check drawings and quantities, ensuring the accuracy of calculations. * Assist in the preparation of ‘as-built drawings’ * Comply with the site-specific health and safety protocols to ensure any health and safety concerns are identified and reported as necessary. Our client requires a Site Engineer with: * Experience with Piling * Valid CSCS * A good understating of construction health & safety protocols. * Excellent communication skills. * Experience in marine civil engineering. * Degree qualification in civil engineering or equivalent is desirable.
