SEMH Teaching Assistant
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated graduate looking to gain experience working with young people with SEND/SEMH needs? Do you have a background in psychology or wish to have a career in therapy, mental health, educational psychology and more?
A vibrant, inclusive Secondary School in the Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham is looking for an individual to join their expert team of teaching staff. This role enables the successful candidate to access valuable training, teaching experience and the opportunity to work alongside a fantastic team. The right person for the position will be able to improve the academic experience and development of young people.
SEMH Teaching Assistant Job Description:
£105 - £110 per day
8.30am - 4pm
Monday to Friday (no weekends)
Full-time, Long-Term
Based in Hammersmith and Fulham
Start ASAPSEMH Teaching Assistant Role:
Working in a fantastic Secondary School
Assisting teaching staff in the classroom with learning.
Working closely with individual students and small groups with additional needs.
Providing support to young people with SEND/SEMH needs to eliminate barriers within the curriculum and making learning more accessible. The Ideal Candidate for the SEMH Teaching Assistant Role will have:
A degree-level qualification.
Previous experience working with children, including those with SEND/SEMH needs.
