Job Title: Slinger Banksman Location: Luton Pay Rate: £19 per hour (via umbrella) Working Hours: 9.5 hours paid per day Job Type: Long-term Start Date: Beginning of November Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Slinger Banksman to join a long-term project in Luton, starting at the beginning of November. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified individual with a CPCS Slinger Card, looking to work on a busy construction site. Key Responsibilities: * Safely sling and signal the movement of materials and equipment on site. * Direct crane operators and ensure loads are lifted and positioned safely and accurately. * Work closely with site teams to ensure smooth and efficient lifting operations. * Adhere to site health and safety regulations, ensuring safe lifting practices are followed at all times. * Conduct daily checks on lifting equipment to ensure it is in safe working condition. Requirements: * CPCS Slinger Card (valid and in date). * Previous experience as a slinger banksman on construction sites. * Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to lifting operations. * Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
