Class 1 Driver St helens

Job Title: Class 1 Driver Location: St Helens – Halton Pay rate: £16/£18.00/£20.00 negotiable on PAYE and Ltd Flexible working – Immediate Starts Aspion are currently Class 1 drivers to cover temporary contracts across the Liverpool area. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over long distances, ensuring that they are delivered safely and on time. This will involve curtain side, multidrop, fridges and trailers as well as dock work. Responsibilities include Transporting goods and materials to various destinations Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations Maintaining a clean and organised truck Ensuring proper documentation of deliveries and pickups Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate schedules Requirements Valid Class 1 driver's license Dock Card - advantage  Minimum of 2 years of experience as a professional truck driver Clean driving record ( max 6 points sp30 ) Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team Knowledge of current road safety regulations and industry best practices At Aspion, our core values have been built around the importance of transparency, innovation, passion and collaboration.
