Denbies Wine Estate, is one of the largest vineyard in the UK is set in the heart of the Surrey Hills, an area known for its outstanding natural beauty. Denbies pride itself as one of the finest venues in Surrey. We currently have an opportunity to recruit an experienced Head Chef who will be responsible for our Denbies Vineyard Hotel. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy environment with a motivated and passionate team. Skills and Requirements: Overall responsibility for daily operations in the kitchen Liaising with purchasing companies for food orders Maintaining or raising the profit margins on food Develop menus, control purchases and wastage Food Safety & Hygiene and Health & Safety Legislation qualifications. Strong motivational and influential people skills You will be an effective communicator, and be able to integrate with other Heads of Department. Write menus and emphasis on keeping with current food trends An eye for detail and the ability to drive consistent brand standards. A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within Restaurants and Hotels Please note a copy of the job description will be available upon request. This Full-Time position works 5 days out of 7, including weekends and evenings.
