As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working in a school with the highest academic aspirations, but also where a caring, family-orientated culture is maintained throughout. This SEN Teaching Assistant position will involve working with children who have SEN within a supporting SEN Secondary School. (EHCP and / or ASD diagnosis) You will support the children to meet academic and social targets and encourage progress in both aspects. You will collaborate with the classroom teacher and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for the student.
