Treasury and Financial Reporting Accountant

Hutcheon Mearns have been engaged by our market leading client in the drilling industry to source a Treasury Accountant on a full time, staff basis. This newly created role will be based in Dyce on a hybrid basis. Our client is going through a period of growth, so this presents an exciting opportunity for candidates looking to progress. To be considered, you will be currently working in a treasury role with extensive experience in this area. Our client is offering an excellent salary and benefits package. Booking bank vouchers and reconciling bank accounts Contribution to preparation and approval of payment runs and manual payment proposals Supporting month end close process within required deadlines for intercompany reconciliations Be the key point of contact for operational banking partners and debt financiers Maintenance of treasury schedules for interest and loan balances (internal and external); Develop robust hedging strategy that helps to protect the business from adverse movements in interest rates and exchange rates Support tendering process advising on preferred currency splits related to medium / long term cash planning requirements Support vendor management with ownership of the integrity of supplier master data for bank information Educated to college/university level or experienced treasury professional Effective team building skills whilst being able to work autonomously and self-motivate Flexible approach requiring the ability to support international operations across different time zones and a variety of cultures Flexible hours Hybrid working (3 days in office) Excellent working environment, friendly/sociable office Free parking Career progression opportunities
