Job Requirements / Description
Intial 6 Month Interim to Permanant position. The postholder will support the Head of Capital Projects to lead the Capital Projects department, based across all sites, comprising a team of project managers with support from a team of externally appointed specialist advisors. This role will work to lead one of the key pillars of our clients scheme, which is part of the New Hospitals Programme. This could be a New Build Planned Care facility, a New Build Womens and Childrens Hospital, a New Build 800-space Multi-Storey Car Park and/or a transformative workstream to decarbonise sites, electrifying the heating and hot water generation across the estate. The successful candidate will be supported by a team of external Project and Cost Managers and will draw on a pooled resource of Trust Capital Project Managers to deliver their schemes. We are currently at RIBA Stage 1 and working to submit our Strategic Outline Case in March 2025. Our client will be working through the remainder of the business case stages to late 2027 and then in construction from (Apply online only)/2032. 1. An undestanding of the Green Book Business Case model (this will be the majority of the work until 2027/2028) 2. Experience of working at a Programme Management level (leading a team of Project Managers, implementing governance, monitoring progress) 3. An appreciation for working on large projects, particularly in early stages. Whats on offer? 1.
