Role: IP Legal Counsel / Solicitor Industry: Intellectual Property Salary: £ Competitive Location: Lancashire UK The Company: Our client is a global leading manufacturing company based in the UK, looking to employ a qualified in-house Solicitor/ Legal Counsel with a focus on Intellectual Property. The Role: Key responsibilities will be but are not limited to: Supporting Senior Legal Counsels with drafting reviewing and interpreting contracts. Supporting the Group IP and Licensing manager (and in-house UK and European attorneys) with Drafting and reviewing a range of intellectual property agreements required to support the activities of the research and development team. Providing general commercial legal support and assisting the Senior Legal Counsels as appropriate. Being involved in projects with significant intellectual property focus. The Candidate: The successful candidate will meet the following criteria: Be a qualified solicitor and have experience drafting and negotiating agreements in the field of IP for at least 4 years. Have an in-depth knowledge of UK and European patent, trademark, design and copyright laws. Demonstrate an interest in science and technology and can grasp important scientific concepts. Have exceptional communication skills. Demonstrate a passion for excellence and a willingness to take personal responsibility and ownership for achieving results and objectives.
