This is a role that involves a working in mental health, safeguarding, and SEN. As part of this role, you will be tasked with a complex caseload of vulnerable young people and families to provide support and deliver interventions to bring about substantial and consistent behavioural improvement. You will also ultimately be required to improve overall outcomes and decrease dependency on external services. As a Family Support Worker you will help and provide practical and emotional support to children and their families. You will be required to manage a workload whilst sticking to a schedule. You may also be required to escort vulnerable children to and from school whilst providing efficient, safe and effective guidance at all times to ensure their health, safety and welfare.
