My client is a cloud-based software company whose products help streamline supply chain management, quality control, and trading and planning processes for their clients globally.


The Business Development Representative will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities and working alongside the Business Development team to build a strong sales pipeline for the EMEA region. You will report directly to the Business Development Manager.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads based on marketing-driven campaigns.
  • Utilise tools like HubSpot, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to manage and track campaign performance.
  • Research and identify prospective customers within key markets, including retailers, food manufacturers, and food service businesses across the EMEA region.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our software solutions to facilitate initial engagements with potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development and Marketing teams to qualify and prioritize leads.
  • Follow standard procedures for updating CRM systems (HubSpot) and managing the sales process from outreach to client engagement.
  • Support senior Business Development team members in preparing product demos, working towards proficiency in assisting with demonstrations.
  • Work towards KPIs related to lead generation, activity levels, and engagement, providing regular updates to the Commercial Management team.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on CRM systems like HubSpot and tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Campaign Manager.
  • Experience building CRM lists using contact databases such as ZoomInfo.
  • Prior experience in the software or food industries is preferred.


Experience Required

  • Proficiency in HubSpot or a similar CRM platform.
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, HubSpot).
  • Experience with email marketing tools like Mailchimp, HubSpot, or Salesforce.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
