Our client is a leading, innovative, data centre owner-operator, who offer colocation and cloud services to diverse businesses and hyperscalers globally. Sustainability is at the heart of their business, with the majority of their operations powered by renewable energy. They are making significant investment into new data centre capacity and are growing rapidly (both people and facilities) and are now looking to hire an experienced, international HR Director to join their team in London (with frequent travel to the Nordics). As HR Director, you will play a key role in shaping and driving our client’s people strategy to support ambitious growth plans.You will be responsible for designing and implementing effective HR tools and processes, cultivating a cohesive culture across multiple geographies, and managing relationships with senior stakeholders. You will partner closely with the executive team, other senior leaders, and Private Equity backers, to develop and execute HR initiatives that support business goals, drive employee engagement, and create a strong company culture in a fast-paced, private equity environment.This is a great opportunity to shape the HR strategy of a fast-growing, private equity-backed company. You will be joining a dynamic, innovative, and inclusive working environment and working alongside a talented and ambitious international team.Key Requirements:HR Leadership Experience: Proven track record as an HR Director or Senior HR Leader in growing companies. Strong, broad experience across all HR disciplines.International Experience: Deep experience working in multi-location environments, particularly in countries with strong trade unions (ideally Nordics). Private Equity: Familiarity with working in private equity-backed environments, demonstrating the ability to navigate the fast-paced, high-growth challenges that come with it.Trade Union Knowledge: Solid experience working in trade union environments and effectively managing labour relations.Stakeholder Management: Exceptional skills in senior stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with executives, board members, and investors.HR Tools Expertise: Proficiency in implementing HR technologies, tools, and systems that support a growing and geographically diverse workforce.Building Culture: Passion for cultivating and embedding a positive company culture across diverse locations.Change Management: Proven experience in leading change management initiatives within a dynamic, high-growth environment.Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute a forward-thinking HR strategy that aligns with business objectives and drives long-term success.Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel regularly between UK and the Nordics.
