Long Term 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant

Job Title: SEND 1:1 TA Role Harrow Location: Harrow, London Start Date: September 2024 Salary: £90 -£100 per day Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join one of our schools in Harrow. This is a full-time position, starting in January. As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our young students. Responsibilities: Assist the class teacher in creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for early years students. Support the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Help plan and deliver age-appropriate activities and lessons. Assist with the assessment and monitoring of students' progress. Provide individual and group support to students as directed by the class teacher. Promote positive behavior and maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment. Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the holistic development of each child. Maintain accurate records and contribute to student reports as required. Attend relevant staff meetings and professional development sessions.Requirements: Previous experience working as a SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant is desirable. Hold a valid DBS certificate registered on the update service. Right to work in the UK. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
