HSEQ Advisor Civil Engineering Contractor Location: Walsall, West Midlands (Various sites within a 50-mile radius) Salary: £45,000 - 50,000 per annum Employment Type: Permanent A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking a dedicated HSEQ Advisor to support multiple projects within the Midlands. In this role, you will ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality management systems while promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement across site teams. Key Responsibilities: Support health and well-being initiatives under the direction of the HSEQ Manager. Promote occupational health at a local level and communicate monthly themes. Provide consistent HSEQ advice and support to employees and site teams. Conduct inspections, identify hazards, and minimize risks. Undertake incident investigations and produce safety alerts. Monitor, verify, and report on HSEQ statistics monthly. Support compliance with internal and external safety standards. Assist in the onboarding of new staff regarding HSEQ Management Systems.Qualifications: NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent); ideally IOSH. CEnv or equivalent; ideally Associate IEMA. Proven experience in an HSEQ role, preferably in civil engineering. Strong analytical and communication skills. Proficient in MS Office applications. CSCS Safety Professional card.Desirable: Extensive HSEQ experience within the civil engineering or rail sector. Level 3 AET or PTTLS qualification.Benefits: 5% company pension contribution.
