Support Worker

We are actively looking to recruit for a Domestic Abuse Support Worker to join an organisation within the South Wales area on a part time temporary contract. Job Title: Domestic Abuse Support Worker Location: Bridgend Contract type: Temporary Salary: £14-16hr via Umbrella Working week: Wednesday - Thursday 9:30am - 5pm Domestic Abuse Support Worker Responsibilities: Provide emotional and practical support to survivors of domestic abuse through one-on-one sessions, group work, and telephone support. Develop and implement personalized safety plans and risk assessments. Assist service users in accessing legal, housing, health, and financial services. Maintain up-to-date records and case notes in accordance with confidentiality and data protection policies. Raise awareness about domestic abuse within the community and participate in outreach programs.
