Biomedical Scientist - Histology Location: London Euston Salary: Flexible + Private Medical, Pension, 25 Days Holiday The opportunity: As a Biomedical Scientist you will be responsible for assisting in the smooth running of the laboratory and providing a high-quality histopathology service. You will work closely with the Histology Manager and other histology staff to ensure the timely and accurate processing of specimens and the delivery of results within agreed turnaround times. Responsibilities: Receipt, booking in, and processing of specimens Cut-up, staining, and dispatching of specimens Quality control and accuracy of work output Archiving of samples Participation in training courses and continuing professional development Compliance with health and safety regulations and safe laboratory procedures Specimen dissection (subject to competency and training) Requirements: HCPC registration Histology experience in healthcare setting
