Job Overview

This is a key role within a rapidly growing business working with our International Sales Manager looking after our international sales channel and some of our biggest customers worldwide. Tasked with looking after a range of international distributors and retailers, it involves building strong relationships with our current customers and seeking out new opportunities where needed, in order to grow brand penetration, maximise product listings and drive rate of sales.

 

Responsibilities

· Manage distributors & retailers in selected international markets to maximise growth opportunities.

· Working with customers to agree Joint Business Plans annually including robust sales targets.

· Implement sales and marketing strategy across international markets, including planning yearly marketing and promotional activities across key markets.

· Train distribution partners’ sales teams to deliver Beco vision in their market.

· Launch NPD on time and ensure all customers have what they need to succeed.

· Visit customers regularly. The role will involve a lot of international travel in Europe and further afield, including attending relevant international trade shows.

· Seek out new business and gain listings in current accounts to continue our international expansion.

· Work closely with International customers to ensure they are focused and aligned with our global goals in terms of business growth and product focus.

· Build key cross functional contacts, including supply, finance and marketing both internally and with our customers


Experience:

· 2+ years’ experience in a similar role selling consumer goods.

· Successfully scaled B2B sales internationally.


Skills:

· Personable, persuasive, and outgoing

· Strategic, but willing to work on the front line

· Good time management and organisational skills

· Commercially strong with good excel skills

· Excellent presentation skills with attention to detail

· A bonus but not essential: multi-lingual preferably speaking French, German, Italian or Spanish

· Target orientated, driven and ambitious

· Likes dogs

· Passionate about mission led brands
