Production Operative

We are looking to recruit a hardworking and reliable team member to join them . The ideal candidate is someone who is looking for long term work.

Location: Barnsley - Wombwell S73

Hourly Rate: 11.44 per hour plus 1.19 shift allowance where applicable
Weekly pay through the agency for 12 weeks before consideration for a permanent contract.

Available: Immediately on a Temp to perm basis

The shift pattern: 7am - 3pm
Half hour unpaid lunch

Overview: Duties will include unpacking / unboxing , coiling and packing. You will also update records and maintain a clean and safe work environment .
This role will include manual work.

The Role

• Ensure the correct availability of materials
• Ensure all goods are packed securely with correct labels
• Maintaining records
• Monitoring scrap / wastage
• Keeping the work area clean & tidy
• Ensure Health and Safety rules are adhered to
• Follow standard operating procedures
• Be committed to continuous improvement

The Successful Candidate

• Experience within a manufacturing / production setting
• Experience of using hand tools would be of an advantage
• Good standard of verbal and written English
• Positive can-do attitude
• Must be able to use own initiative
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must have own transport or be able to commute to the site reliably (start time 7am in S73)
