Job Summary:

Our client is a FTSE 30 Multi-national who own numerous world renowned brands. They are looking for a Senior ESG lawyer to join their growing team in London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal expertise on a wide range of ESG matters, including environmental regulations, social responsibility, and sustainability.
• Develop and implement ESG strategies and policies to ensure compliance with global regulations and industry best practices.
• Oversee ESG reporting and disclosure, ensuring transparency and accuracy in all communications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG considerations into business operations and decision-making processes.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings related to ESG issues and provide guidance on litigation risks.
• Stay abreast of global ESG trends, laws, and regulations, advising on potential impacts to the business.
• Work closely with the legal and compliance teams to manage ESG risks and opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Qualified solicitor of England and Wales with significant experience in ESG, environmental law, or related fields.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing ESG strategies within a global corporate setting.
• Strong understanding of global ESG regulations and their application to the corporate sector.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the skill to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Commitment to promoting sustainability and corporate responsibility.
