Construction Lead opportunity working for a major tier one main contractor who have a large flagship scheme which they require an experienced Construction Lead for.
About the role of Construction Lead
This Construction Lead the build of a major commercial scheme from the ground up through to the fit out and handover.
They will be managing all of the construction which will be made up of multiple phases and managing a large team of managers.
Construction Lead responsibilities
- Working closely with the Project Director and Operations Director to successfully deliver this scheme which is in excess of £180million.
- Managing a large team which will include Project Managers, Site Managers and assistants.
- Pull together the design, commercial and programme and drive the project forward.
- Guide project teams and be able to keep on top of various parts in a fast paced project environment.
- Represent the main contractor in the best light and communicate with the client.
Requirements for Construction Lead
- The ideal Construction Lead will have experience working for a tier one main contractor and have a successful track record of delivering a major scheme in excess of £100million.
- This Construction Lead will have worked on commercial/retail/residential and have a great understanding of how to build.
- The ideal Construction Lead will come from a technical or engineering background ideally as there will be some complex obstacles to work around.

- £120,000 - £130,000 + package
